Cheers Lads just worked that one out, while ime at it i remember some one saying that their is no such thing as waterproof grout it is ?? anyone remember that.As you may have guessed i an having an argument with a know it all customer who is telling me how he wants the job done ime just trying to help him as he has got it all wrong and wont listen to me so i jut need to back my argument up.

grout is water resistant but you can buy aquaseal or something similar that will make it waterproof for about a year,just use microban and get him to seal it himself!

Cheers Dave but failing me getting my Oxford dictionary out what is the differance between resistant and proof.

resistance means until a certain level of waer makes contact i.e sub-merged,part sub-merged(whatever the spec is)
proof- means totally resistant!

in you and me english it means water won't penetrate until ridiculous amounts come into contact with it,but the manufacturers always have a get out clause!

just make sure you use the best i.e bal microban(or mapei equivelant) be ok!
