Hi
I am about to install quadrant tiles around my bathtub and am looking for advice in properly

installing the quadrant tiles. I haven't found any useful information on the web about this.

I am installing the quadrant tiles because water is seeping through the area where the tub meets the

tile. The Silicon caulk just doesn't hold up. The quadrant tiles will cover this area.

I was planning to use grout to add the new quadrant tiles over the current tiles/tub/grout. After this dries, I also want to paint a few layers of polyurethane to add further water resistance.

Sounds to me more like you have a movement problem with the tub installation. If the Silicon is not keeping it sealed then I suspect the quadrants won't do either, certainly if you are going to use adhesive/grout and not Silicon.

Maybe you should investigate why the Silicon is not keeping it's seal. is it coming away form the joining surfaces because of poor adhesion or is it that the movement between the wall tiles and the bath edge is too great?

Don't think quadrants are the solution personally!
