Qualification

I have been tiling floors for a long time but wall tiling not so long.

Over the last couple of years I have been doing a lot of wall tiling but only the basic stuff.

I am a plasterer by trade but next year sometime I am hoping to become self-employed once again doing tiling and plastering.

Would it be advisable for me to gain a qualification in tiling like an NVQ or something?
If so what is the best route to go down?

If you are not feeling confident then a short course would help you out. As for the qualification ? would you be working on sites and therefore need a CSCS card ?

I currently have a cscs card. I think I'd like to target the domestic Market.

Then a formal qualification is not important to you. I would do a short course just to brush up on skills.
