not really-i just wanted to match the make-bought some reclaimed quarries-different marking on the back,and they do look slightly different although the same dimentions.

Not too sure how old the floor is but must be over 100 yrs laid on sand

Hi Nathan,

Do you have a photo of the tiles or the makers mark? There were a few makers that used a shield logo (doulton, godwin & hewitt, H&R Johnson, WB Simpson). If it has a compass in the centre (sometimes looks like a cross) they could be tiles made by Colin Minton-Campbell, those would better replaced with tiles from Jackfields.

If it's an Edwardian property chances are they are dark blue quarries (some are really dark) and terracotta - but without seeing the photos it's hard to say.

i think wooliscrofts had a sheild on the back
