Quote for removing garage foundations

Bunny,

I know labor rates vary and also costs of disposal, but for my area that sounds like a decent price (I converted pounds to dollars and sq m to sq yards), especially on the low end of what you quoted.

Site access would of course affect the final numbers.

Thanks for your replies. My decking is rotten and it is so much upkeep - around 40sqm in total and every year I have to paint it and it breaks when I walk on it. I guess I could replace the decking but that would be around 1k just for the decking alone :-(

bunny

is the concrete base causing the decking to rot? i built my old deck straight on to a concrete patio and never had any problems with it. my new deck is elevated but the deck posts supporting the main structure stand on their own concrete foundations.

if you can't replace the deck, why not just rip it out and use the concrete base as a patio instead?

GRR

I have made a decision to go for impressed concrete printing. I have two quotes that have come out the same 2.5k ish for 40 sqm with 3 steps so I think that is a good deal.

Now I don't know how to choose them.

One said that he gets the concrete coloured rather than spray it after, the other's portfolio was great. Does anyone know anything about this industry?
