quote packages for my pc, i'm trying to speed up the time it takes to write them

Quote package, never heard of one.

Once I have decided everything that would be needed for a job I just type mine out and print off, takes 5 mins max.

Same as Fekin, just add up what materials will be and add on what you want labour wise...simplicity in itself..Mark.

I have one for my PDA (pocket PC) called mobile invoice. You click on the items needed and any other labour charges and makes a quote then if they accept the quote you can turn that quote into an invoice. I even have a mobile printer so i can leave the invoice and quote there and then.

Use an accounting package. The one I use can create quotes, change to an estimate and then to an invoice with no further input, if necessary.

I'd do something similar I think. You could just do something in Excel that had all your logo's on it and terms and stuff. Use it as a quote, letter head for your emails and your invoices / invoice reminders etc.

If you have a website with mysql / php capabilities I could knock up something that would looks smart and work well that did all the above. There are loads of packages / free scripts too that you can customise.
