radial tile cutting 60cm+

Anyone know of any reasonably priced radial tile cutter/wet saws that
can cut up to 60cm in length?

There seems to be plenty of choice at up to 45cm approx for under £150
but last time I searched - I couldnt find anything for less than about £500+ that can cope with really long tiles.

Also, what is your prefered method of cutting tiles of this length, assuming that these are of a natural stone that you cant put through a dry cutter?

Looks like its a case of either feeding it through an ordinary cheaper wet saw which is dam hard work if there big and heavy, or shelling out a big outlay on a radial cutter.

i was in topps last week and they had a good 1 there for 199 they recon they have sold loads. cant remember the power but it was well above average it was also on a stand am thinking about buying 1 myself IT SOUNDS AND LOOKS A GOOD BUY.

Bought the one that Gaz mentioned for £169.99 last week from Topps. Used it on a job cutting thick granite and it had no problem atall getting through them, obviously had to change the blade but worked wonders.
One thing to watch out for though is that it is a fixed cutter on metal piping. Some cuts are impossible as the arm that holds the blade in place gets in the way so meant doing some cuts dry on my grinder. Not bad for the money but hoping to get a dewalt wet cutter within the next few weeks.

Buy the biggest and the best one you can afford, false economy buying cheap, this will be a very important piece of kit that you will need and help you take on more jobs with larger tiles etc.
