rating table for tiling products /adhesive grouts

can we have a ratings system for tiling products on the forum ,where the members can leave marks out of 10 for the every day products we use ,there have been lots of polls for what we use, with a rating table it would be clearer which ones to try and which to avoid this also might get some of the manufacturers of inferior products to pull there socks up and improve

start with granfix grout. 0 out of 10. the maxi version is quality its just all the others dry patchy.

ultra rapid set flex 9-10 sets very fast ideal for wooden floors mapei ultracolour plus 10-10 quality gear. nicobond natural stone speedflex 8-10 good pot life for rapidset. ultra bucket gear [ yellow and blue lids ] 8-10 good gear and self priming. little sloppy at times and tiles slip a bit. granfix supergrip 6-10 too stiff at times. will hold 600x300 tiles with no slip but have had some failures with it being too stiff and not bonding to biscuit of tile. [ havent stuck 600x300 just did a test].

try weber, will grab on no probs and wont slip :yes:

i use weber tubbed adhesive and grout on my site jobs i have to say decent stuff

but i use excelbond from tile clearing house that is also good quality adhesive
