Steam cleaner!!?? Not sure that's a good idea.

I used Universal grout restorer last week (turned limestone to white).very impressed with the result.Could be an option if the grout is in stable condition🙂

At the end of the day we all need to make money. After informing the customer of what you would recommend and they still would like it, re-grouted.
Price accordingly.

Wash it with fila deterdek and use the platicote pen.

I would try with FILA SR95 for greasy
then FUGAFRESCA MAPEI

I would avoid at all costs. More often than not customers expect a full regrout for under £100. Definitely not worth the hassle or bother
