Recommended grout width on 60 x 60 square edged ceramic floor tile

Can anyone advise what is the recommended grout width on 60 x 60 ceramic floor tiles with square edges laid on a concrete floor. My wife says she doesn´t want them grouting and that they should just " butt up " but i feel sure that you must have grout to finish off. Any advice would be appreciated.

British Standard minimum recommendation for floor joints is 3mm, if the tiles are perfect in size, 2mm joints can be done but only if you have no underfloor heating.
