Renewing floor Concrete

Hi all .

ive just started ripping out my extension 100%refit

im taking up the old ceramic tiles,the problem im having is ,its tking up the screed with it ,screed is hollow all over .

the screed is approx 25mm to 15mm in places .i cannot lay a proper screed 50mm as it will throw out all the worktop lines /window cill

any ideas how to sort this ?? would be too much for self leveller

i was thinking a grano mix 25mm thick ???

there are self levelling compounds that will cope with that thickness biffo, will post some up later. (just making tea at the mo!)

You could go with a flowing gypsum screed. They can be laid bonded at just 25mm or unbonded i.e. on a polythene membrane at 30mm. Much cheaper than a levelling compound.

Could use sbr in a slurry on the existing floor then add some sbr to the new screed, would allow you to lay thinner than normal..

Sand would have to be a good quality though
