Re: Rescued limestone from the skip, advice on whether to seal the bac

There is anoter test i need to do and put on youtube I have done this for 20 years on light stone that is prone to bleed through. I have never had a problem with adhesion but I only do it because it is the way I was told to do it so I think a test is in order

Re: Rescued limestone from the skip, advice on whether to seal the bac

OMFG,

Just went to lay a few tiles, they are not square got a 3-4mm difference, I use the rubi batten stands with empire blue levels the super expensive ones.

Got my combination square out and yes not square.

I did buy a FLEX tile cutter with fence as thought I might need it, cost me £550 water fed and a great bit of kit.

Question is now how to salvage the tiles as too good to skip, I could go rustic and not care about the tile gaps but thought I would throw the problem out hoping for a wiser solution.

Many thanks again.
