fender

when putting up respatex or similar in a wet room can the respatex be fixed straight on to the studded walls or would they have to be plasterboarded and tanked first the the householder have suggested putting on hardiboards over the studding first is there a need for hardiboards or plasterboards and tanking any advice please

Sounds like a stormwall type thing. Wouldn't touch it with a barge pole myself so can't help I'm afraid. Hope you get the advice you need

This is just wet wall, as long as all joins are siliconed then it should be waterproof.
I'm not keen on it myself but each to their own
