Gents and ladies, can you help?

Off to look at 100m2 of floor tomorrow in a retail outlet. 11m x 9m so actually only 99m2 to be precise!!!!

600 x 600 tiles, not 100% sure as to what they are yet but nothing worse than Porcelain i dont think.

By that i mean thay aint going to be Travertine or Slate therefore wont need sealing etc.

Expansion joints required but guess i just set out and incorporate them into the grout lines and use Silicon for the expansion?

Mainly in a square room but a couple of cubicles to go into as well.

Question is how much for labour only? £22pm2 inc addys?

IYO how long for one body and also for two people on the job?

All feedback gratefully received.

Thanks in advance.

personally wouldn't work for less than £25 walls £30 per m floors

Is that inclusive of mats Gaz or labour only?

visited this job today and the tiles are travertine so wet cuts all the way. Yes they will need sealing too!

Substrate i almost perfect flat, power screeded i think you call it. Any special adhesives needed?

It looked like it had some sort of black coating on it, neither the contractor nor i were sure what it was but standard application of adhesive should suffice! Just checking with you guys 1st tho!!!!

Can anyone send me in the right direction for expansion joint info?

Pricewise im now thinking in the £30+m2 mark. Lots of laying and small ammount of cuts plus he wants to put skirtings round so can leave a good expansion gap, oh and 6mm grout joint. Happy days!!!

He actually wants someone to start in a week and complete in 4 days. I ask you why would a contractor ring a tiler and only give a weeks notice. He's only called me as well so could have this one in the bag if i juggle a bit of work around!!!

All feedback very welcome as this is one of the bigger jobs ive come accross and could be a very very nice earner eh!
