Review of Mold Disinfectants

Hi, the alcohol works really within seconds and then evaporates quickly, so it's minutes to wait rather than hours, I don't know if there is an adhesive which has a mold inhibitor built in, you'd have to wait for big man Dave or someone like that to come along. What are you tiling on?

It's a painted wall so I assume it's plaster underneath.
The client wants to extend the existing tiling.

Ah, you have to make sure the paint is rock solid and sound enough to tile on, one test is to stick a good length of plumbing tape on it, leave it to stick well (the longer the better IMO) and then pull it off. If the paint comes away with it, you'll have to sand it down first, if it doesn't score it well, you need a good solid key for the adhesive.

By the way that's a great name you've got-Mosaic Girl- makes me think of a character you might find in a super hero type comic. You dont have another life where you change into a costume with a big mosaic S on the front of your tunic and fire bits of tiles at villains do you?

That paint is already peeling, got to come off. But don't sand off the mold, breathing the spores in is really dangerous. Use the mold killer of your choice first, be really thorough with it, keep the window open or a dust mask on, and use the mask when you're sanding the paint off, too. I got pleurisy from mold once, and it isn't funny, at all, treat it with due respect. And please do asl more questions or search this forum for the correct adhesive etc...
