Ripping up ply sub floor

I havent had to do this so far guys but my next bathroom floor is going to require re boarding from joists up, can you tell me the standard(ish) method for removing a upstairs bathroom subfloor? Floor at the minute is down to ply, tiles lifted, ply covered in addy.

Is this ply over floor boards or is it direct to the joists, as it stands at the moment.

ply over chipboard then joists

I've used a crow bar, hammer the long part under the floor and lift..

But try and keep it along the joists otherwise it may break through the chipboard, if you see what I mean.

i do. so the existing screws dont usually hold and end up cracking the floor into tiny horrible pieces? lol

Depending what size screws were used but believe me crow bars can be quite resilient to any fixed flooring.
