River shell mosaics.

Has anybody tiled these befoe? I would like to use them as a feature on a wall, but there is no thickness given with them and I am using 9mm thick porcelaine. I am a bit worrried that they might be very thin and be difficult to make them flush with the thicker porcelaine tile.
