Rotozip? Fein Multimaster?

I would really like to invest in one of these tools. A lot of guys on here rave about them but being honest i am not too sure what each of them does and what are the pros & cons of each.

If i had say £150 what one is going to be most beneficial to me?

cuts them tight architrives in corners,cuts out grout if a tile needs lifting etc!!

The fein is more of an oscilating? saw / tool, where as the rotozip is more like the dremel thing that was about years ago and spins round like a drill, both usefull IMO (though i currenlt own neither!).

Cordless fein everytime, we've a few of them - brilliant!

Also got a rotozip, been used three times now it collects dust on a shelf.

I had one of them dremmel things 4/5 years ago. God, it was nightmare! ping! ping! drill bits flying everywhere!
The Rototzip is supposed to have better drill bits so they say.

Not sure what all you have access to but there are alot of knock off models of the Fein Multimaster coming on the market some of which are getting good reviews.

The blade cost is a BIG factor to consider.

I've had a Fein MM for a number of years and use it quite a bit but like I said the blades are expensive. Great tool for undercutting and grout removal.

The Fein is a great tool to have in the van, rarely plan to use it but gets you out of trouble but as the others have said blades are expensive
