why didnt you just say something like

Hi Mate,

because you are some what new to tiling maybe go in low and you can learn from the job also.

Instead of saying that i am not a good tiler you dont know me so i find that kind of insulting,
i have had nothing but praise from the jobs ive done, take a look at my website if you like.

I dont think going in low and learning on the job is good advice, your website does not say you are just learning. I wouldnt let a mechanic who was just learning fix my van. Just dont think its fair to take a risk with people hard earned dosh

As long as you price the job to cover materials and say your day rate that should be fine
