Makita all the way. Soft start so the bugger don't whip around and break ur wrist. The secret is to change the router blade every 4 mitre joints, it's gets expensive but perfect cuts in laminate no frayed edges.

Really worth the money, I made a lot of joints.
Most important thing is good quality blade like Trend or Freud/Bosch.
Sometimes you need change blade after two joints (poor quality worktop with sand or stone inside).
