Was easier for me..pile into estate car..go to council run tip for nowt..well a few bevvies for the lads there when bumping into them....Gaz....how much to pay for van tipping at council sites then..........Gaz

Differs from job to job but usually get rid myself, (legally) On bathroom refurbs I make clear the customer has to pay for a skip

Depending on the amount, I'd leave it for the customer to take to their local tip or stick in their bins. Or get a skip and charge at no profit.

Emm, I Have a farm as well as tiling and a few wet spots ive dug out need filling with 'hardcore'. I can 'remove' excess 'stuff' from sites at a price. Its alot less than a skip but then ive the hassle of doing it all at night in the wind and rain. Skips are a thing for the rich and famous round by me!

I explain to the customers about the change in laws for rubbish removal in commercial vehicle's etc and they fully understand.. i bag it up nice and tidy and they dispose of it..and as i don't usually supply tiles ... the customer does then really it is there rubbish not mine anyway... ..

How much do the council charge to dump waste rubble at the council dumps if you are in a commercial van ?

My local one starts from £45+vat...then it goes off the weight....

I had to select STATE FIRMLY IT IS CUSTOMERS RESPONSABILITY , but I don't say it like that.
I explain about council charges and waste licenses and explain how I would have to charge quite a bit extra for removal when they can rid it for free.

I have a lockup on a farm, I collect small amounts of rubbish in heavy duty poly bags and store them in the lockup until a skip on a job becomes available. The farmer has a long drive to the farm he had fly tipping and attacks on his derv tanks, he put a heavy duty electronic gate with key pad codes and still had fly tipping in front of the gate:furious3:

im like most of you in stating that its their responsibility to remove waste, i will however bag it up in managable loads for them , if they dont want to take away in their shiny new cars i offer to take away at £2.50 a bag and then launch it in different wheelie bins later on lol or take to tip in my estate

tend to leave for customer unless they are happy to pay me for taking it. I explain it costs me to dump it and 9 times out of ten they will shift it.

Unless its an old dear of course and then ill shift it for her, and probably anything else she needs doing cos im stupid soft like that!!!

Same here,have had loads of old dears who don't have vehicles or aren't quite strong enough.I just put a bit in their bins then end up putting it in a mates skip or a future customers skip.
You can't leave heavy waste about for old people its just not cricket old boy.
