Mr T

Whats your flavour?... had the pleasure of using both. Cant decide which to go for when payday comes along lol

Not a shadow of a doubt get a sigma 3BM
I've used both, suffered for five years with rubi-itis, after 5 minutes of sigma I was truly cured
Far superior machine

Yawn! Whichever you prefer. Sigma for me but have used Rubis before and still have a t40 like Whitebeam

Is there any other big makes out there.. I did like using the sigma tbh so mite have to see how cheap there goin for on ebay

Loads of options, montolit, genesis, tomecanic. Sigmas very rarely come up second hand, you'll need to be on the ball to get a good one cheap.

My local supplier does a cutter but can't remember the name and was quite impressed and the prices are good....

Here we go again neither montolith all the way the rest are just copys of this great machine

Each to their own really if it works for you. Why don't we way up the features of each machine and there benefits to the user?. I will start.

MAX handle example.
1. Single rail multi point breaker
2. 1200kg breaking power
3. No mark protectors on the feet "so no marks on polished porcelain"
4. Height adjustable centre rail for cuts up to 20mm
5. No gaps between the feet. "good for thin cuts and small sheet mosaics including glass.
6. Swivel measuring guide as standard
7. Sprung alloy base
8. 19mm carbide scoring wheel set around bearings for a smoother cut. also held in place with a nut and bolt so no play on the wheel.
9. Dampened thrust handle allows smooth cutting of tiles with a rough surface.
10. strong design "no case required".
11. Bed sizes from 37cm all the way to 151cm
12. Interchangeable parts

Who's next then?.

God this debate is getting old i personally dont like montolit but the op asked rubi or sigma, sigma all the way for me(i am a convert),i will sell my ts-40 and my ts -60 to whoever wants to collect them for £180 pound for both right now, i dont use em anymore and dont particulaly like em but thats my prefrence ,i only used rubi's for 15 years so what do i know 🙂.

Is there an old saying about workman blaming their tools! If it works why change - my hammer and chisel still work fine (along with my Kenny Rodgers)

90% of what I do is done with a rubi ts60+.......just saying!!!!!!...........AGAIN!!!!!!!......
