Rubi Tile Cutter Advice Needed

Tilers Forums Official Sponsors

How about one of these if you do not tile a lot and won't break the bank...

See that is the one i've been looking at but i'm worried that won't be much better than my pocket rocket, the cutting wheel can move as much as 2mm! by the time you get to the end of the tile as the rails aren't the best.

Hi Mate
phone DAVID NEAVE at Trade Tiler, tell him what you require, tell him your budget, he will only be too happy to advise. If you buy from him you will get a bargain and good service to boot.

I think David is going to be sending me an order very soon! I go a bit crazy when I see new gadgets, it's not really a question of budget more getting the right tool but don't won't to over do it

Hi Mate,
if your budget will stretch to a few extra quid, try and think about spending a bit more on something that be sufficient for all your needs. Never goes amiss & at the end of the day is something that can be off set against your tax at the end of the year ! Win Win !!!

I think I will go for the TS-50 I already knew it was the right one for me but I spent £400 on a festool last week so this will have to be sneaked in to the house under the cover of darkness, if the other half finds out it'll be on your heads!

Got a TS-50 Plus (and more...) turning up today! from your friends at TradeTiler, I even got a little discount through this forum, I find internet shopping very dangerous, one click of the mouse and it's in your basket, and unlike tesco's you basket never gets full which is normally the sign that you really should stop shopping!
