Just bought a TS70 Plus used once off eBay. I know it's a big cutter but can it be used for smaller tiles? Or is it better to have another cutter, smaller?

It can be used but usually I match the cutter to the tile I am using. No point having a 700mm cutter for 200mm tiles ?

Makes sense. I've not received it yet so haven't seen one "in the flesh" so to speak.

It's quite big! Try using it on a kitchen work top when doing a splashback and you'll soon be investing in a smaller one to go with it.

Will definitely get a smaller one, but for £120 I couldn't resist

my rubi ts 40 + is ideal for splash backs and fits over a bath nice on a sheet of ply

More than anything, having a smaller cutter for the jobs where you've got smaller tiles just means you're not lugging a huge cutter around. And you do tend to move them around a bit as you work around the room. And smaller bathrooms small cutters fit in much better.

I'd go for a 700 and a 300ish. Probably end up hiring one for the huge tiles though that way mind, needing a 900 or something.

I've got TS30, TS50, TX700N AND TX900N use appropriate cutter to suit tiles, love the 30 for kitchens and alot of bathrooms.
