I think the TS is a brilliant cutter. It will do 99% of your jobs without any problem at all, its easy to use, its light and easy to move around, doesnt take up much space and its a very good price for the amount of use you will get out of it. The TX is a much better machine but it is a lot more expensive and takes up a lot of room and weighs a lot. If you were saying that you were going to become a full time tiler i would agree with the above but if you are talking the odd bathroom or kitchen, I would go for the TS myself.
