I have recently finished a tiling course and have bought a "Rubi TS50" tile cutter, and when I've been using it for a bit practice, I've come across a problem when cutting a tile on angles eg cutting some of the corners off, because the breaker is at the very top of the cutter and doesn't actually touch the tile where its been scribed, and so doesn't do anything. On the course which I attended the breaker (on a different Tile cutter) could be positioned anywhere on the tile to snap them, could someone please advise how I'm supposed to cut the corners using the TS50. many thanks

going by what you are saying, there does'nt seem much you can do as the breaker is at top of machine.do what GAZ says or scribe and run it through your wet cutter.got a GENESIScutter myself m8 which has a floating bed,a groove at top and breaker on the runner/handle,when doing diagonal cuts you just scribe put in groove and break in the middle of tile.

Thats what I had been doing, but I thought there may have been a different way using the tile cutter, thanks for that, and also for your team beating B'ham so we are champions, many thanks again
OOO had to mention that!1 point off play offs.we should have thought about that every one of the 6 previous games we lost!put the shirt away for this season.Well done and away the lads
