Raja

Found out my badge which runs out in August needs to be renewed A.S.A.P

With a possible 7 month backlog

Due to thousands re applying and it being the first renewal since the S.I.A came into force

When i first started in 2002 on the Doors used to be £35 for local council badge

Then in 2005 was £190 to S.I.A for the badge

£160 for a week long course supossedly 32 hours according to S.I.A but in real life only 10 hours max

Where may i add no one who has ever sat the test has failed in that particular training centre in Sheffield :wink5:

Now it is £245 absolute joke

Then they bought a another law out saying every Door Supervisor has to have Liability Insurance in place to operate on a Licensed Premises another £120 a year

After a man has bought his nice suit "hugo boss" my choice

Some nice shoes "ted baker" my choice

2 bottles of the finest aftershaves

Hugo Boss Baldersarini" On a Friday nite my choice

"Hugo Boss Energise" on a Saturday my choice

Crombie My Choice Marks & Spencer Autograph Brand

I found takes a month just to break even on the above listed "Materials" needed for the job

Everything is getting silly now S.I.A, CSCS and Now for the construction Industry C.I.S

Corgi is a prime example but i won't go into the failures of that system

Wouldn't mind if these things worked but as with Security am sure most of u saw the Panorama Special a few weeks ago Condemming its failures

It was orgionally bought in to get rid of the criminal elemant "so they said"

A sheffield based company run by a life long criminal had all the contracts for a supermarket chain and we are not talking Aldi or Netto but after that Panorama i never saw any of his guards and there rightly so.

Supse it does name and shame a few of the more distiguished companies but not the man on the door or in a retail or static position

I could be arrested and charged for as many offenses as i wanted but could continue to work until the badge expired or was taken off me by the police when upon my possesion Absolute joke

From where i am standing all they got rid of was my £190 3 years ago and now £245

Sorry Lads & Lasses for the Moan

Prob log on Sunday nite if i am not working Take Care
