I wonder would old white beard get me one of these for Xmas , or would a sigma be better ?

I prefer the Sigma or a bridge cutter type of cutter, not so keen on those type of cutters but it's what works for you...

^ same as mark, bridge cutter all the way, unless you don't use large format stone/tiles often

Looks like a Dewalt D24000 lookalike, and agree with the comments about large format tiles, but on my Dewalt I just cut from other side if it is an issue
