Schluter prefer you to go through a retailer..

Is it he kerdi board you are after..? Yorkshire tile supplies in newcastle sell it.

Tried for years to deal direct with schluter, but they wouldn't do it as I didn't have a showroom to put up a Schluter display. I have to go through my local tile shop in Dunfermline.

Kilty, the problem here is that Schluter is insisting that the retailers carry a wide variety of the kerdi board products, even if the retailer only wants a few select sizes. So retailers are saying "no thanks".

hi rob,i love schluter products,they are expensive but they are worth it imo.

however they are requiring me to buy boxes of 6 boards ata time and if i only need 2 or 3 boards of differing sizes for small jobs im not buying them in boxes,and the shop wont pick up the stock either

carriage is horrific as well,im not sure if this is from schluter direct i have a hunch that the shop is doubling the carriage which i think is wrong...75 pounds to have 3 boards delivered is a joke imo

i called wedi,tech help was 2nd to none,price was good and i can buy single boards...top dollar imo

I'm with Kilty on this one..love their stuff..but as said is really pricey..and I always have to go through the same hoops with a retailer and the delivery charges.
The funny thing is I find the Schluter technical and sales side absolutely A1..so I've no idea why they won't play ball and deal direct when they're so well set up to deal with/accomodate tradesmen in all the other areas!??!
