a nice long run out is what you need Neale. a good hour each way of constant driving.

Probably you are right but no chance of that in the forseeable future. All jobs are local.
Now to do 2 hours constant driving will take some doing at the moment and with the cost of fuel and time of I think it would be cheaper to buy a new battery !! :lol:

I just googled the temperature at the point where diesel will start to solidify or gel and it's anywhere from -9C and below. I now see the merits of having a usable garage even more clearly.

hmm, that's probs why mine isn't starting then, minus 11c here now.

Put a match in the tank to warm the diesel up a bit



Please note there are other ways of warming diesel up so please do not listen to me

That only means you can get to work but not necessarily home again. Id rather be stuck at home!
