Sorry been away! Don't know if I am coming or going at moment. Only way to get scratches out is to hone and polish accordingly. May even need grinding if they are deep. Just been to Devon yesterday to deal with same problem 68M2 of Jura Limestone the furniture people dragged heavy sofa right across it. A couple of screws were protruding out the bottom of the sofa the result is two beautiful tramline gouges right the way across the floor.

If possible try and coach the customer into Porcelain tiles.

Much harder and they can be made to look like anything.

Probably too late, but if you decide to replace the tiles, remember to isolate the affected tiles from the surrounding ones by removing the grout. Then crack the bad ones using a bolster and a hammer. Then remove as much as possible of the old adhesive and grout, and redo.

Just goes to show............

In a recent survey (by me:grin: )

We asked a 100 tilers, (who expressed an opinion)

Found that 99% of Plumbers are total MUPPETS :mad2:

Plumbers have cracked a great many tiles for me... "BOOOOYAH!!! LET'S USE A HAMMER DRILL TO MAKE SUM HOLES, YEEEEEHAAAW!!!"............. :mad2:
