seal issues

Hi

I wonder if you can help me.
I have re-tiled the bathroom with winckleman's black and cream quarry tiles.
I used some seal from b&Q and now it has left some clouds on the tiles.

I am thinking of buying some Aqua Mix Seal & coating remover and reseal.
Any advise on the best seal remover to use and best seal to use for those tiles?

Also I have re-tiled the kitchen with pilkington red quarry tiles. What sealer should I buy of those if any?

:welcome:Smilyduck - If its the Winklemans black and off white tiles I'am thinking of - they are either a dust pressed tile or a full bodied unglazed porcelain tile (the 2nd is my guess).
When I've previously used them for floors being high fired they accept little to no absorbsion and if fully dry only need a coat of Stain stop.(Lithofin)
If you now have a cloudy surface it may be as they were not clean enough to seal, were damp when sealed, or seal has been left on the surface to dry with an accumulation of dirt.
Test an area with Nitromorse varnish remover 1st, clean off as per label and allow to fully dry. Then seal with 1coat of stain stop.

They are dust pressed unglazed floor tiles with a higher absorbsion quality (ie accept more moisture than porcelain) so stain stop if fine. For ease of maintenance you can also use a satin/gloss coat of polish ( HG ) but again all processess when tiles fully dried - could be 24 hours.
