Hi in advance...... I'm a bit new to the tiling game and just looking for some pointers please!!!!
i have been using the search for these questions but now getting a headache:mad2:.
could someone explain to me in laymans terms, when and which tiles need to be sealed? and which tiles dont need it, also best procedure to follow? And should they be sealed straight away or after a few days?
My second query is I'm applying 600x300 porcelain on walls soon and have been told by topps not to use their trade waterproof ready mix due to fact of the size and weight of them. Now I have been told by an experienced tiler mate of mine that it will be fine he has used it for years on big tiles and never had a problem so some views on that please. I always use powdered flex on floors and comfortable with using rapid set but if I don't need to waste time mixing up buckets for the walls then would save time.
many tthanks great site:hurray:
