sealing marble tiles

evening all,
just completed tiling the bathroom used the marble tiles from TOPS TILES,
when is it best to seal these tiles before or after grouting.

Are they honed or polished finish..?

Ok..

I would recommend LTP MPG sealer.. specifically for polished surface due to high surface tension.

You can get this at any Tile giant store or direct from LTP online..

Topps sell Fila sealers but not one of my favs.. maybe others like it and can recommend that.

OH!.. and one coat before grouting and dry and one after once it is dry and cleaned off..

I used to work for a bloke down in the Bath (Somerset) area doing all natural stone tiling. When he sealed the tiles he used to lash this stuff on and let it soak in overnight. Every time I've used sealant since then it has stated on the packet not to over wet the floor when sealing. What's the general advice with sealant? I'm doing a porch in polished marble. The sealant I've used from the tile depot (colour enhancer and sealant) needs to be applied quite dry.
How does this protect the tile when it seems not a lot of liquid enters the tile?
Please help. Confused.com!!
