Sealing tumbled natural stone

a lot of tumbled marble has holes and is pitted.Bear in mind when you grout you will fill these holes.Be careful when choosing a grout colour.It can get ugly believe me.Always seal tumbled marble or any natural stone BEFORE installation.

Ok so i'll seal tiles before fitting them. Do i seal both sides & the 4 edges or just the tops?

dont seal the backs

Lay..............make sure they are Clean...........seal 1-2

Then grout and then seal again.

Stuff laying the whole lot out on the floor to seal before laying..............unless its only a couple of metres for the walls

i agree with cj, i tile my backsplashes(or small areas) first then seal.if its a big area then ill lay em out and seal
