self levelling advise

hi all
the floor that im working on is level from end to end but hollows out in the middle as much as 8mm,
its timber floor with cement board glued ans screwed,whats the best slc to use to keep the floor height to a minimum and just fill the hollow,ive used weber floor flex in the past but its min of 10mm full floor area if memory serves
is there a min and max on mapei slc ,floor has no deflection and is solid

Mapei renovating screed will do 3 to 30mm

Phil Gibson told me about a good one, can be feathered from a mil or to and will cover 8mm in one go, its fiber renforced too... Google " level flex "

Try level flex, its fiber renforced! And will go from nothing up to 50 mm in one go I think.

As PHG, Mapei Renovation Screed will go from 3mm, very nice to use.

Only thing with the renovation screed is, it requires Eco primer which is about 40 quid per bottle :-(

what is the min time before tiling on the renovation screed as i need to get going on it,
weber flex has the re inforced fibres but un sure if the 10mm rule applies going over cement boards,or would the mapei 2 part latex plan be any use?

hi robson, mapei recomend Eco primer, its v expensive too, I was going to try the stuff as heard a lot of good reports about it unrolled I was told the price of the primer. My local tg said most of the guys just use primer g but where would that leave you if something goes wrong? My guess would be that they would blame you for using wrong gear! Having said that, I'm sure you will be fine, I'm just being cautious!
