Thanks, Max, yep lucky escape....but not out of the woods yet until job all completed successfully!
As I have only salvaged the wiring and lost all the matting, what do you suggest I use to secure the wire to the Ekoboard? (i.e. prior to covering it with the flexi levelling compound) Could I simply use masking tape, or will the heat be likely to have an adverse effect on it? And should I lay some sort of scrim tape down onto the Ekoboard, before taping the wiring down onto it, to give the levelling compound something to cling to? And finally (oh, so many questions!), when I did this incorrectly the first time (i.e. when I used regular, instead of flexible, levelling compound) I covered the whole 2sq.m area...but I'm wondering if I could drizzle some flexi lev compound over just the wiring itself, or could this make it difficult to get the tile adhesive on level, when it comes to the tiling stage? Thanks, Max, if you are able to take the time to answer my queries, All the best, Steven
