Hi Kev, Im in the Pentwyn area.
Do you know Cardiff ?

Born and bred there mate. I was in Cardiff last week. Strangely enough and I know it doesn't help you but I was hunting everywhere for a tiler in that area a few months ago and posted it on another Forum. No takers whatsoever!!!
I do however know a few people in the area and will keep my ear to the ground for you.

Top post Kev. Andrew would be proud of you.

I don't know why Andrew would be proud. It was just some snippets from an old 10 week business course I did 15 years ago. I ran a business course about 18 months ago back at PITT and adapted it for tilers!!!

The advice applies whether you are tiling or selling ice cream:thumbsup:

When I was 16 waiting to join the RAf I was unemployed. My father kicked me out of the house at 8am to find a job and not allowed back until 5pm, unless I had a job. It took me 3 days to find a job. This was 1981.The moral of the story, I would not have got that job sat at home.
:furious3: :mad2:
Those of you at home GET OUT and find work. Park outside tiling, diy stores. Go to building sites, tiling shops. Leave cards in pubs, surgeries, anywhere the public go.
The public like to see you more than once sometimes especially when you advertise, this way they know your not a fly by night.
People spend most of their money on services within 5 miles of their homes. So dont travel miles when it could be under your nose. :hurray:

Sorry TOUGH LOVE is needed sometimes.:grouphug:

Good Luck to you all.
