You have plenty of thickness in the pvc window sill to allow the tiled window sill to be picked up as much as you want but beware that if you pick it up to much then you will have a small cut above the door!!!!

Good point SJ. Although that door measurement doesn't take into account the architrave so I could get a bit back there actually.

I've been signed off as unfit for work since December as my MS has got to the point where working caused it's symptoms to flare up to much and one leg spasm seems to have torn my knee cartilage and stretched the ligaments enough for me to get to see a knee specialist tomorrow.
I could take a pic of my front hedge which I hope to finish trimming if the wind will stop for long enough!
