U have an iPhone don't you Lee?
Hold it landscape and tap image, it should open another page with the image from original location giving perfect image, no matter how much u enlarge.
Yes u can use off cut to start next tread or riser as long as it's full width.
Otherwise u'd have joint had way thro said tread or riser.
