Use those black tiles (with bling) a couple of times. Customers have added 'red' items to the room for effect but a red border is 'brave'.

thanks for the comments guys, floor grout was mapei black brian, walls have been painted since and i fitted a huge solid granite radiator in that space in the wall with the pipes dangling out!
