I thought that was a shower valve covered in it's plastic protector, A solid granite radiator! I'd love to see that, have you any pictures? also who was your supplier?

I fitted solid glass rads, but I don't think i've seen a granite one before

got a pic somewhere will try and find it, believe it or not the client ordered it from b and q, cost bout 900 quid, nightmare to fit had to strengthen wall to no ends! me and two mates to lift it on!

Do you guys ever get ones like this? The designer was catering to the customer's desires to have a "Beach Theme" bathroom (OK, no problem there) but the floor layout had to be at some certain angle because that is what the customer insisted was the correct layout for waves as they hit the beach :yikes:. He wanted a certain exact angle of the water tile intersecting the land tile, based on the back wall of the bathroom. And he was really serious about this.

We did two bathrooms for him and the designer and were never happier to get done with the work and get the hell out of there!

Now, this isn't a floor shot (sorry), but speaking of the wacky customer in the previous post.....the other bathroom had the wall taken out between the bathroom and the bedroom. The plans showed this. We did the demo of the wall and that made it clear that there was no wall there anymore. :lol: We did all the tile, drywall and carpentry work. The glass installer came to measure for the glass. The designer had the glass wall and door to the bathroom on the plans and talked to the customer about it.

So, when the glass was installed, guess what the customer said:


Hey, there is a glass wall between the bedroom and the bathroom! Someone might be able to look in a see me! What can we do about this? :mad2::mad2::mad2:

1. It was on the plans. :furious3:
2. He saw all the work going on for two months and only now figured this out?:incazzato:
3. He lives alone, so who cares?:lol:
4. His condo is on the 8th floor and no building is within sight for at least two miles at that elevation.:veryangry:
