It is! I'm having a boat renovated, and the project manager is humming and haaing about whether we can use glass in the niche, which is the finish I'm looking for, and he wanted more detail about how to do it. We'll use a glazier and a tiler who hopefully will know what they're doing....if I can get the project manager to agree it's possible in the first place. Your info has been very useful in making the case, thanks!

Kate, just thinking, considering it's a boat and most likely subject to considerable temperature and air moisture changes, as well as movement, how about using clear acrilyc 'glazing' sheets instead? You would would have less condensation than with glass and more flexibility, and they can be cut to exact sizes.

Hi, thanks for the suggestion, sounds good. Have you used these glazing sheets...what kind of finish do they give? Any idea where I might source them from?

Bath niches I added in a bathroom yesterday
