Don't get your knickers in a twist. Nobody is criticising. Grout colourant works and will give the effect with the added benefit of a waterproof epoxy stainproof finish as well.

I dont think colourant makes the grout shiny. Although it is good stuff.

The only shiney Grout I've seen is BAL Epoxy LV, or floor

Yes Danny it is better to use a product that has the desired effect all the way through rather than use a so called colourant or sealer that could wear off.....

Has to be epoxy for me as well........

So is BAL easy epoxy, but I wouldn't say you'd get a true shiny finish. Because LV and Floor epoxy is pourable, it leaves a nice smooth shiny finish.

I think grout colourant could give you a shiny finish, depnding on the grout underneath. I think the smoother the grout finish, the better chance of getting a shiny finish.
