Tell him to run up the walls at the edges instead of pulling in horizontal from the corners, going horizontal from corners and windows creates the bow. Hope this makes sense.

I refuse to use a plasterer on my jobs and would rather strip and strap it instead. There aren't many guys out there that realise what's needed when it comes to prepping Walls for tiling.
