Silicon tips?

I use Fugi tools on Silicon finishing, on occasions my finger, but the best advice i can give is before you Silicon is prep work. . use a decent Silicon. Cut nozzle for size of bead, use a spray bottle with soapy water in. Tool as necessery. Have decent wipes for excess. You will be surprised what a good job you can make when you have things prepared.

I use the Fugi kit all the time it comes with two clip on guides to run over grout joints giving a good line of Silicon.

I use fugi profilers but they do take time getting used to. Keep practising and practising. One thing I do not use is water or soapy water. If water gets trapped behind the Silicon it will turn the Silicon mouldy.

I also carry a good supply of baby wipes and plenty of Plenty towel.

Yes I don't understand the soapy water thing. Surely you're contaminating the surface that your trying to stick the Silicon to.

Had a bit of a discussion about using your wet finger saying that it's the bacteria in human spit which causes mould.
