The problem with some Silicon tools is that they can create a line above when gliding through making even more work. Personally I use my finger just make sure that if its a cut its rubbed down. Don't use finger especially on porcelain!

Who leaves their Silicon a few minutes before forming? I do now. I find it has had time to 'settle' before being abused by a tiler. LOL

you'll never see a mastic man use his fingers, i got very little skin left on them as it is

have seen a few rough Silicon jobs my self,,think they had been smoothed off with a spade............dave..

when Silicon goes wrong, it goes wrong big time.... usually on a friday about 6pm...missus on the phone..'how long you gonna be'.....

Why would you use white Silicon with black tiles and wooden surface?
