Tile to tile, you want to silicone, so it's water tight (or as water tight as it can be anyway...)

Thats an impressive range! I knew they did a good neutral curing silicone for stone use, but didn't realise they had such a colour range!?!

Just run a cloth over it after applying. I might remove the skirting board, apply the silicone and replace the board so your pretty boards will show while you still benefit from the silicone. But on all visible surfaces the cloth works great!
