just finished wiring in the loft for my down lighters and mini occupancy detector and im chuffed, i keep going into the new to be wet room so the lights and fan come on auto its great it even got a remote control :yikes::8: plumming changes next i find it relaxing doing other trades do you m8 ??

As long as you are certified to do the work then go for it....i leave it to them that do it for a living....

i like doing other work but tend tend to leave it to there own trades as i find that i'm a lot slower and make more money tiling and paying someone else to do it

I find it pretty stressful during the work itself but afterwards leaves a nice feeling of satisfaction knowing you've done it yourself

I fitted a satellite shower in a wet room recently. they are pretty cool gizmos, no wiring into the room at all, just a small touch pad on the wall that can have 4 pre-sets on it. The showerhead was 750 x 750, called a monsoon shower. If I could work out how to do it i would put all my digital pictures up

I enjoy doing the odd bit of plumbing round the house and for family. It is nice to have the opportunity to practice some different skills and to have different problems to solve every now and again.
