a great man was cooper, one of my many boxing hero's,its why i love the sport so much.
paul ingle, the yorkshire hunter, was also a great boxer,he won the world title off the american, junior jones, superb day for british boxing, then lost it to a african called botile,if i remember it right, in his next fight, unfortuatly his last, becouse of the bloodclot,a very sad day indeed.A hard sport at times is boxing
We see Paul a lot in town, he seems to vaguely recognize me, I have talked to him, but he isn't good, an absolute tragedy. Very sad to see him like that. When I saw him train in that club, he was lean and incredibly quick, his eyes reacted very fast, too, and now, no.. it's not good. Scarborough is a kind place all in all, we have drunk idiots in town at night like most towns, but in general he is supported and appreciated wherever he goes, everybody, as I have seen, is always nice to him, it's more like a village here where people become 'locals' very quickly.
